With warm temperatures and the recent rarity of no threat of rain, 22 women turned up this evening to race. Most reported it as being a slow night, citing wind direction, thick air, or other explanations, but still five of 19 managed to improve upon their previous 2008 WTT 15km best, while three of those improved upon their previous database best. Here is a graph showing all of this year's 15km performances for tonight's competitors who have ridden at least one earlier 15km WTT event earlier this year.

It is fun to see the age handicapped times after applying the OBC Age Handicap Method of 2003, and interesting to see how the British VTTA method might apply both age and gender handicaps to our times tonight.
